Active Citizenship & Women's Rights

This course will provides an insight to the development of human rights and the challenges faced by the nation while exploring the fundamental rights and responsibilities of a citizen, demonstrating the mixture of tasks and responsibilities a citizen has towards a nation and the government's duty towards its citizens.

Discover various constitutions and laws and their origin in different societies. Learn about the inequality and different laws in Sri Lanka pertaining to women.

  • Understand basic rights as a citizen and responsibility of the youth of the country.
